I have decided to write a 50,000 word novel in 30 days!!
That’s right, I am participating in National Novel Writing Month, or NaNoWriMo. This annual contest challenges would-be authors to write a novel during the month of November.
Since this was an impulse decision I made yesterday, I’m expecting the results to be horrible. It should be hilarious.
Read my novel here: Atrocity
Do you have an idea for my novel? Should I give up? Tell me about it in the Comments!
You go girl! You could write a novel about nothing, but that might be difficult seeing as how I can barely write a post a day about nothing. However, with the name “Atrocity” it sounds a lot like my life. What about writing about Walmart? Or the dollar store?!
Good luck! Even if you decide that you don’t like it and all the worry about the plot and inciting incidents, you can just use it as a base for practice or it might become something awesome that you didn’t expect.
I wonder how many days I’ll also lose to wine… or in my case, the Irish pub’s midoori’s on main street…
Yay! More NaNoWriMers!!! I’m part of it too, though I haven’t started yet. Going to do some tonight. I wish you luck and will check out your work!
